Applications are now being accepted for the James B. Pearson Fellowship for the 2017-2018 academic year. Established in 1979, the Pearson Fellowship provides assistance to graduate students with approved study abroad programs. Applicants must be: a resident of the state of Kansas for a minimum of five years; be accepted to a graduate program at an accredited Kansas college or university; be pursuing, or plan to pursue, a program of study, preferably related to foreign affairs. Appropriation fields of study include but are not limited to anthropology, economics, geography, history, international relations, law, philosophy, political science, psychology, and sociology.
The application deadline is Monday, April 17, 2017. Please contact Breanna Kroeger at the Graduate School Office (email@example.com) for an application. The final selection of Pearson Fellowship recipients will be announced in May.
